Bij Portera speel je een cruciale rol in het beheren van de creatie van een virtueel datacenter in Azure voor een van onze belangrijkste klanten. Je leidt de migratie van alle on-premise datacenter-assets naar de Azure-cloud, waarbij je je diepgaande technische expertise inzet om innovatie te bevorderen, risico’s te minimaliseren en prestaties te optimaliseren. Dankzij jouw uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden werk je soepel samen met technische stakeholders en ben je een sleutelfiguur in het realiseren van succesvolle cloudtransities.
Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden:
- Ontwerp van Cloud Governance: Leiding geven aan het ontwerp en de implementatie van Azure Virtual Data Centers, met een focus op beveiliging, governance, FinOps en compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), in lijn met best practices.
- Hands-On Leiderschap: Sturing geven aan DevOps-ingenieurs en zelf actief betrokken zijn bij het configureren en implementeren van Azure-infrastructuur (compute, netwerk, opslag).
- Cloud Migratie Strategie: Ontwikkelen van een migratieplan dat is afgestemd op de behoeften van de klant, met naadloze overgangen van on-premise omgevingen, inclusief disaster recovery- en rollbackplannen.
- Risico- en Impactbeoordeling: Uitvoeren van uitgebreide risicoanalyses gedurende het migratieproces om bedrijfsactiviteiten minimaal te verstoren.
- Stakeholder Communicatie: Samenwerken met IT-leiders en technische teams om ontwerpbeslissingen te valideren en compliance-kwesties aan te pakken.
- Migratie Uitvoering: Beheer de migratie van servers, VMs, databases en applicaties, met minimale downtime en continuïteit van bedrijfsvoering.
- Post-Migratie Ondersteuning: Bieden van ondersteuning na de migratie, prestaties optimaliseren, zorgen voor schaalbaarheid en kosten optimaliseren.
Wat je meebrengt:
- Azure IaaS Expertise: Uitgebreide ervaring met het ontwerpen, implementeren en beheren van Azure IaaS-werkbelastingen, zoals Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers en ExpressRoute.
- Cloud Security & Compliance: Sterke ervaring met cloudbeveiligingskaders, Azure AD, RBAC en netwerkisolatie.
- Aantoonbare Succesvolle Cloud Migratie Ervaring: Ervaring met het leiden van grootschalige Azure-migraties voor zowel greenfield- als brownfieldprojecten.
- Hybride Cloud Management: Expertise in hybride cloudarchitecturen en het integreren van on-prem met Azure voor naadloze migratie.
- Infrastructuur Automatisering: Gevorderde ervaring met IaC-tools zoals Terraform, ARM-templates en Bicep voor geautomatiseerde clouduitrol.
- Scripting & Automatisering: Vaardigheid in PowerShell, Azure CLI en Python voor automatisering en probleemoplossing.
- Data Migratie Expertise: Ervaring met het migreren van databases zoals SQL Server, MySQL en Oracle naar Azure.
- Disaster Recovery: Expertise in het ontwerpen en beheren van disaster recovery-strategieën met Azure Site Recovery.
- Cloud Financieel Beheer: Ervaring met kostenbeheerstrategieën om clouduitgaven te optimaliseren.
Voorkeuren:
- Certificeringen zoals Azure Architect Expert of Azure DevOps Expert.
- Ervaring met multi-cloud strategieën en diepgaande kennis van cloudecosystemen (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Praktische ervaring met Kubernetes, AKS en DevOps-praktijken zoals CI/CD-pijplijnen.

At Portera, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the creation of a Virtual Data Center in Azure for one of our key clients. You’ll drive the migration of all on-premises Data Center assets to the Azure cloud, bringing your deep technical expertise to lead innovation, minimize risks, and optimize performance. Your excellent communication skills will ensure smooth collaboration with technical stakeholders, and you will be at the heart of driving successful cloud transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Cloud Governance Design: Lead the design and implementation of Azure Virtual Data Centers with an emphasis on security, governance, FinOps, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA). Ensure alignment with best practices.
– Hands-On Leadership: Direct DevOps engineers and be actively involved in configuring and implementing Azure infrastructure (compute, networking, storage).
– Cloud Migration Strategy: Develop a migration plan tailored to the client’s needs, ensuring seamless transitions from on-premise environments, including disaster recovery and rollback plans.
– Risk and Impact Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments throughout the migration process, ensuring the least disruption to business operations.

What You Bring:
– Azure IaaS Expertise: Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing Azure IaaS workloads, including Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, and ExpressRoute.
– Cloud Security & Compliance: Strong experience with cloud security frameworks, Azure AD, RBAC, and network isolation.
– Proven Cloud Migration Success: Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale Azure migrations for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
– Hybrid Cloud Management: Expertise in hybrid cloud architectures, integrating on-prem with Azure for seamless migration.
– Infrastructure Automation: Advanced experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep for automated cloud deployments.
