UX/UI designer

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to perform two key roles:

  1. Help improve the user experience, performance, and conversion optimisation of a business-to-business e-commerce website. This will include the creation of UX design principles
  2. Own the VI for the site, including updating the design template as time goes on, and generating brand content for new campaigns and product launch initiatives.

For part 1, the core responsibilities include:

  • Gathering user requirements, defining the desired outcome
  • Investigating the challenge and identifying the root cause
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Developing recommendations for improvement/enhancements
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps

For part 2, the core responsibilities include:

  • Designing graphic elements and building navigation components.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
  • Creating campaign elements
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
  • Designing new content modules/components for the site

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools.

  • Have strong (5+ years) experience in UX/UI design and consulting
  • Be a brilliant communicator
